You can use several popular payment methods at Wienerschnitzel including cash and credit cards. Its restaurants also have point-of-sale terminals that support contactless payments so you can use Apple Pay and Google Pay there as well. Like other restaurants, this hot dog restaurant temporarily deactivated its terminals in 2020 but they’re functioning again now. Additionally, Wienerschnitzel relaunched its mobile apps in 2023 so now you can order a hot dog online again there as well. Its mobile apps don’t support mobile wallets, though.

California and several other states offer the Restaurant Meals program which allows qualifying members to pay for restaurant meals with EBT. In Southern California, there are a few Wienerschnitzel restaurants that accept EBT in Kern, Ventura, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties. This payment option isn’t available at every Wienerschnitzel location, though. RMP participants can also use EBT at other restaurants in Southern California such as Del Taco and Jack in the Box, although Wienerschnitzel is one of the few participating restaurants that serves hot dogs.

Additional Information About Wienerschnitzel

With its classic A-frame restaurants, this is a popular drive-thru hot dog restaurant that has many locations in Southern California. While there are a few other hot dog restaurants in my area, many of them don’t have drive-thru lanes. It’s also uncommon for fast-food burger restaurants with drive-thru lanes to serve hot dogs, although Original Tommy’s serves chili dogs. Of course, you can also order chili dogs and many other types of hot dogs at Wienerschnitzel as well. And like other quick-service restaurants, Wienerschnitzel also has low menu prices. This restaurant’s name is a pun and it doesn’t serve traditional Austrian schnitzel.
