You can buy smoothies made with fresh fruit as well as other favorites such as acai bowls at Robeks Juice, or Robeks. This smoothie shop also sells energy bars and avocado toast as well as a few other snacks like toast with peanut butter. Here are the payment methods you can use at Robeks.

You can pay with most frequently used payment options at Robeks smoothie shops. These shops have terminals that support tap-to-pay so you can use Google Pay and Apple Pay there. You can also pay for your smoothie with cash or payment cards instead, of course. Robeks doesn’t accept PayPal for either online or dine-in orders, though, although many other restaurants don’t support paying with PayPal either. It does have mobile apps that accept delivery orders as well as in-store pickup, which is noteworthy because I wouldn’t expect a smoothie shop to support delivery orders.

This smoothie shop doesn’t support many alternative payment options. It does allow you to use gift cards for online orders as well as dine-in orders, which is noteworthy because some restaurants only accept gift cards when you order at the restaurant.

You can’t use EBT at Robeks, though. While restaurants can accept this payment option if they sign up for the Restaurant Meals Program in participating states, Robeks hasn’t done that. But that’s not surprising because other smoothie shops and juice bars don’t accept EBT either. If you’re looking for alternatives, many fast-food restaurants in Southern California accept EBT and some of them may serve smoothies.

More Information About This Smoothie Shop

If you’re not familiar with Robeks, it’s a popular smoothie shop in Southern California that serves healthy meals for breakfast and lunch. Lots of people go there in the morning to pick up a smoothie to start their day. In addition to acai bowls, Robeks also serves wheatgrass shots and other juices. It has sorbet available as a vegan option as well. And like other smoothie shops, you can also add boosts like vitamins or supplements to your drink there.

You should expect to wait a few minutes after you order for the Robeks employees to prepare your smoothie. It makes smoothies with freshly mixed fruits and fruit juice so each smoothie is only prepared after it’s ordered. You can buy prepackaged smoothies at many grocery stores in Los Angeles but the freshly-made smoothies from shops like Robeks taste better. Of course, there are a few grocery stores that are also making fresh smoothies themselves now such as Erewhon, an upscale health-food store that’s known for its premium smoothies.

Other Smoothie Shops and Juice Bars Where You Can Pay With Apple Pay

The national smoothie shop chain Jamba has many locations in Southern California. It also serves wheatgrass shots and has boosts like supplements and vitamins that you can add to your smoothie.

In my area, there’s also a popular smoothie shop chain called Blenders in the Grass. It’s based in Santa Barbara and it has several locations in Ventura County as well. You can also add supplements and vitamins to your smoothie there.

Another Santa Barbara-based cafe, Backyard Bowls serves acai bowls and other types of fruit bowls. It’s a popular local cafe that has also expanded into West LA with a few locations there.

You can also order smoothies and fresh juice at Juice it Up! This smoothie shop has a lot of locations in the Los Angeles area but might not have any locations in Ventura County or Santa Barbara.

Another place where you can order smoothies, fresh fruit bowls, and juice drinks is Nekter Juice Bar. This juice bar also turned acai bowls into a separate menu category and it serves several types of acai bowls.
