I wouldn’t recommend trying to break a $50 or $100 bill at this restaurant, though, because many cafes and restaurants don’t accept large bills.

Like many other bakeries, Noah’s Bagels doesn’t accept EBT. Cafes in states where the Restaurant Meals program is available, including California, can accept EBT if they sign up individually for this program. But I checked the RMP participant lists for several counties, including Ventura, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and San Diego, and didn’t see this bakery on those lists.
If you’re looking for an alternative, there are lots of Subway restaurants in Southern California that accept this form of payment, although Subway’s a sub shop and not a bagel shop. If you qualify for the RMP you can also use EBT at many other fast-food restaurants in Southern California, although it’s rare for fast-food restaurants to serve bagels.

Noah’s Bagels is a cafe that opens very early in the morning. While its hours are likely to vary by location, you may be able to go here and order breakfast at 6 AM when other cafes haven’t opened yet. This is also true for other bakeries and bagel shops, but Noah’s Bagels also has more locations than other bagel shops. So if your workday starts early in the morning you might want to visit this cafe.
Additionally, Noah’s Bagels has a sister company called Einstein Bros. If this restaurant doesn’t have a location in your area, there might be an Einstein Bros cafe located nearby instead. Both of these cafes have locations in my area, but that might not be the case if you live elsewhere.
