Its service shops have point-of-sale terminals that support contactless payments.

Jiffy Lube’s terminals don’t accept PayPal and Venmo but other auto service shops typically don’t accept PayPal or Venmo either. Some of its shops also display signs that say they do not accept personal checks.

You can use Sezzle’s BNPL app to make in-store purchases at certain stores and service shops and Jiffy Lube is one of these stores. You can’t use any other BNPL apps such as Klarna and Afterpay at this service shop, though, and again it doesn’t take PayPal either.

If you need to finance your auto service bill, you can use Jiffy Lube’s branded credit card to do that. Like other service shops, Jiffy Lube has a partnership with Synchrony Bank and this bank issues its credit card. Additionally, the energy company Shell owns Jiffy Lube and you can use Shell’s fleet cards at Jiffy Lube service shops.

More Things to Know About Jiffy Lube

Another auto service shop where you can get an oil change is Midas. It also provides other auto inspection and maintenance services.

You can also get your car’s oil changed at Meineke’s auto service shops. Like Midas and Jiffy Lube, Meineke has many auto shops in Southern California.

Like Jiffy Lube, Brake Masters is a specialized service shop that primarily provides brake services but it also provides a few other services such as oil changes.

You can also visit a Pep Boys auto shop for auto repair and maintenance services such as changing your car’s oil or replacing its tires.

You can buy brand-name tires at Big Brand Tires and this shop can also install them for you. Many auto service shops don’t carry many tires in their inventory so it might be worthwhile to visit a specialized shop for more selection.
