Known for its New Jersey-style subs, Jersey Mike’s specialty is Philly cheesesteak subs. These are sub sandwiches made with steak and cheese as well as fresh vegetables such as onions and peppers. Anyway, here’s how you can pay for your sub sandwich at Jersey Mike’s.

You can pay with cash or major credit cards at this sub sandwich shop. Jersey Mike’s restaurants have terminals that support contactless payments as well, so you can also use Apple Pay and Google Pay if you’re ordering at the restaurant. But Jersey Mike’s doesn’t accept any mobile wallet for online orders and it doesn’t accept PayPal or Venmo either. That’s not unusual because several other sub sandwich shops also don’t take PayPal or Venmo, including Subway, which stopped accepting PayPal.

While sub sandwich shops can sign up for the Restaurant Meals program in California and other states and accept EBT, Subway is the only sub sandwich shop that I’ve seen do this so far. Jersey Mike’s doesn’t accept EBT and I checked the Restaurant Meals program lists in several Southern California counties to confirm this. Firehouse Subs, Jimmy John’s, and Capriotti’s don’t accept EBT either.

More About Jersey Mike’s And Its Subs

Again, this restaurant is best known for its Philly cheesesteak subs but it also stocks many other types of meat as well as a variety of fresh vegetables. Additionally, if you’re on a keto diet you might want to know about its sub in a tub deal. This sub sandwich shop can place the meat and vegetables that you ordered inside a tub instead of placing them between two pieces of bread. Diners on gluten-free diets might also want to know about this sub in a tub option.

Other Places Where You Can Order Sandwiches With Apple Pay

The most well-known sub sandwich chain, Subway also has a few specialty items such as veggie patties and it’s very easy to customize your sub sandwich there.

Another national sub sandwich chain, Firehouse Subs has a fire station theme and also stocks many flavors of hot sauce. It has its own private-label hot sauce brand as well.

The sub sandwich shop Jimmy John’s is known for rapid deliveries. While you can also have your sub delivered from other sandwich shops, this restaurant can have your meal there faster.

A sub sandwich shop with several locations in Los Angeles, Capriotti’s can make sub sandwiches with turkey meat. Turkey isn’t always available at other sandwich shops.

Best known for its roast-beef sandwiches, Arby’s also serves other types of sandwiches and is known for its horsey sauce and curly fries as well.
