You can use cash, debit cards, and other frequently used payment options at this fast-food burger restaurant. Carl’s Jr also has point-of-sale terminals that support contactless payments so it accepts Apple Pay and Google Pay at its restaurants as well. The payment process for Apple Pay works the same way that it does at any other fast-food restaurant that supports tap-to-pay. Carl’s Jr also has mobile apps that allow you to order food online but they don’t support any mobile wallets, including PayPal, though. Payment options that work inside the restaurant should also work in its drive-thru lanes.

Like other fast-food restaurants, Carl’s Jr accepts EBT at some locations in states where the Restaurant Meals program is available. You have to qualify for the RMP to use this payment option there. Additionally, this option isn’t available at all Carl’s Jr restaurants. It is available at multiple locations in Los Angeles, San Diego, Kern, and San Bernardino counties if you’re wondering where you can use it, though. There are also Carl’s Jr. restaurants in Northern California where you can use EBT.

More Background Information for Carl’s Jr

This is a fast-food burger restaurant that has fairly low prices, although it does have a gourmet burger that’s made with high-quality ingredients as well. One unique thing about it is that it has a sister chain called Hardee’s that operates in the Eastern part of the country. Another unique thing about Carl’s Jr is that it acquired the Mexican restaurant Green Burrito a long time ago and now many of its restaurants in California have pop-up Green Burritos that serve Mexican entrees.

Additionally, Carl’s Jr has a limited version of table service. If you’re eating inside, you can place your order number on your dining table and the restaurant will bring your food to your table. It’s not a full-service restaurant, but this is more service than what most fast-food restaurants offer. Carl’s Jr restaurants usually have drive-thru lanes as well and some of the locations in my area have 24-hour drive-thru lanes.
