Blenders in the Grass Payment Methods

The back side of a Blenders in the Grass smoothie shop.

This smoothie shop and juice bar is a regional favorite in my area and it has several locations in Santa Barbara and more locations in Ventura County. It makes smoothies with ingredients such as sherbet, ice milk, and frozen yogurt. Here are your payment options at Blenders in the Grass.

If you visit a Blenders in the Grass smoothie shop, you can use common payment methods there such as cash, credit cards, and mobile wallets. Its smoothie shops have terminals that support tap-to-pay and you can use Apple Pay and Google Pay there. Blenders in the Grass doesn’t have a mobile app, though, so you can’t make online orders there. This might be because it’s a regional chain that lacks the resources to build an app. Some of the larger smoothie chains, such as Robeks and Jamba, do have mobile apps that support online ordering.

While other payment options such as BNPL and EBT are available at retail stores, you can’t use them at Blenders in the Grass. Like the other smoothie shops and juice bars, Blenders in the Grass doesn’t take EBT. I confirmed this by checking the Restaurant Meals program participant lists for Santa Barbara and Ventura County. You can use Blenders’ gift cards to buy smoothies at its restaurants but it doesn’t accept any of the other payment options in these categories.

More Information About Blenders in the Grass

Like other smoothie shops, Blenders in the Grass sells smoothies made with fresh fruit as well as juice and fruit bowls. You can select a vitamin or supplement boost to add to your smoothie there as well. Again, this is a popular local restaurant chain. Some of the major smoothie shop chains that have many locations elsewhere in Southern California don’t have any locations in Santa Barbara or Ventura and that might be because it’s tough for them to compete against this smoothie shop. Of course, this isn’t the only local smoothie shop either.

Other Places Where You Can Use Apple Pay to Buy a Smoothie or Acai Bowl

Another smoothie shop and juice bar with many locations in Southern California, Robeks also sells avocado toast, peanut butter toast, and other baked goods.

The leading smoothie shop and juice bar chain, Jamba was originally known as Jamba Juice. It has some locations with drive-thru lanes as well as a few co-branded restaurants.

You can also visit the juice bar and smoothie shop Juice it Up! to order a smoothie made with fresh fruit juice. It also has many locations in Southern California malls.

If you’d like to visit another Santa Barbara-based restaurant, Backyard Bowls serves acai bowls and other fresh fruit bowls. It now has a few locations in West LA as well.

Another smoothie shop and juice bar chain that’s popular in California, Nekter Juice Bar serves several types of acai bowls.
