You can use many popular payment options at this Mexican restaurant including cash, credit cards, and mobile wallets. Its point-of-sale terminals support contactless payments so you can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other mobile wallets that support tap-to-pay there. You shouldn’t have any problems using contactless payments at Sharky’s if you’ve added a card to your mobile wallet and you’ve unlocked your phone.

Like other restaurants, Sharky’s doesn’t accept many alternative payment options that you can use at stores. It doesn’t accept EBT. While restaurants in California and a few other states can accept EBT if they sign up for the Restaurant Meals Program, Sharky’s hasn’t done that. This is probably because it’s a fast-casual restaurant because a lot of Mexican fast-food restaurants do accept EBT in Southern California. This is a premium restaurant that has several locations in wealthy neighborhoods in Ventura, Los Angeles, and Orange County, although it’s a fast-casual restaurant and not a fine-dining restaurant.

More Things to Know About This Fast-Casual Mexican Restaurant

Like other fast-casual restaurants, this restaurant stocks several ingredients that you won’t see at other fast-food chains such as organic tofu and mushrooms. It can make several vegetarian and vegan entrees and you don’t have to customize these entrees further to make them plant-based either. There are a few other Mexican fast-casual restaurants where you can customize a burrito to make it plant-based but you can just order off the regular menu for a plant-based meal at Sharky’s.

Additionally, Sharky’s has a few seafood options such as shrimp tacos as well. And again, this restaurant has a salsa bar with several types of fresh salsa and it also serves freshly made guacamole. Its restaurants also have outdoor dining areas but don’t have drive-thru lanes.

Other Restaurants Similar to Sharky’s Where You Can Use Apple Pay

If you like fish tacos, Rubio’s is well known for its fish tacos and it also serves shrimp and lobster tacos. It gives you more seafood options than other Mexican fast-casual restaurants.

If you’re in a hurry, you might want to visit Chipotle. Its cafeteria-style format allows it to prepare custom meals very quickly. Some locations have drive-thru lanes as well.

You can also select several types of salsa at the salsa bars in Baja Fresh restaurants. One noteworthy thing about this restaurant is its plastic collectible cups.

If you like seasoned grilled chicken you can order it at El Pollo Loco. I’d consider it a quick-service restaurant but it still has amenities like freshly made salsa. Its restaurants typically have drive-thru lanes and are open late.

Another popular Mexican quick-service restaurant, Del Taco is one of the few Mexican restaurants that serve french fries. Its locations in my area also have 24-hour drive-thru lanes.
